Professional Training - An Unavoidable Challenge for the Country. With its professional potential aged and without the necessary replacement, the nuclear sector needs to implement and accelerate in the Country an efficient education system of training and specialization, to train manpower and ensure that development the nuclear chain is not impacted by the lack of these professionals. In addition to being an area with strong potential to generate jobs.
Modular Reactor Technologies - The adoption of this technology is now a trend worldwide. It allows to reduce costs of nuclear plants, speeds up the construction time of the reactors and allows the implementation of several of them in the same site. Brazil is already studying the adoption of modular reactors in future projects to meet the PNE 2050, which establishes the implantation of 10,000 MW from nuclear sources in the next 30 years.
